The vanilla cupcake. The simplest but one of the most beautiful bakes ever. Fluffy and moist, whether you are eating these warm from the oven or topped with a beautiful swirl of buttercream, they are always a hit!
This has been my go-to recipe for a vanilla cupcake as long as I can remember. And now I use it when baking with my children too. Easy to pack in lunchboxes for school, or take to the park for a picnic. If we have a bit of time to spare once they’ve cooled, we will often topped and decorated with anything from jam and whipped cream to buttercream, sprinkles and even chocolate spread! It makes for a fab fuss free weekend activity, and is a fabulous way to get kids in the kitchen baking!
Friends, these as so simple to make, with ingredients you’re likely to have to hand. Fun to eat, because.. well… cupcakes! Honestly friends, what’s not to love?!
While you’re considering baking some cupcakes, and if you’re looking for other recipes you could try out too, why not check out these beauties! They are amongst my personal favourite bakes, and are always ALWAYS a hit with anyone who gets their mitts on one! 😛
